Jewish wedding canopy: Chuppah
|
Jewish wedding ceremonies take place under
a chuppah, which symbolizes the new home that will be created by the couple. A
chuppah is a small canopy with four poles that are
decorated by a
garland of flowers and greenery. The couple and the Rabbi stand under the
chuppah during the religious ceremony. Check with the synagogue to see if they
allow for flower decorations for the chuppah. By Nicole Mazzeo Wrapwithus wedding favors |
