Meet with the officiant a few months in advance to find out the particular
details of the ceremony. The officiant is the liaison between you and your
church or synagogue. Some religions may require pre-marriage counseling with
the officiant to prepare the couple for marriage or religious classes. Your
officiant will also know the rules for your ceremony site. Many places do not
allow flash photography because it can dull the color of paintings. If this is
