When to marry

If you have a year or more to plan your
wedding, you can probably have your choice of the date and time. If you have
less time, chances are you may have to book whatever date and time the ceremony
and reception sites have available. Wedding ceremonies usually take place
between 10am and 5pm. The prime wedding months are April to October and there
may be heavy competition for sites. In the Victorian era the best day of all to
marry was the groom's birthday. It was also lucky to marry on the day of the
